We are an undergraduate journal focused solely on Media Studies work, hoping to highlight the unique and groundbreaking work being done by UVA students in the department.

Didn't Movable Type used to exist at UVA?

Yes! The last issue was published in 2018, and we are so excited to relaunch the publication this spring. Previous issues can be found under the 'Issues' tab above.

How do I get involved?

Email Movabletype@virginia.edu and look out for a call for Editorial Board applications or help with peer reviewing.
